      Mrsbongz,

Our kids are counting down to 1-Nov. My ds promised to take care of yours, even making the "Big Brother" of the P1 kids there (also a friend of your ds thru mutual introduction) to promise to take care as well.

So everything is ready, set and go.

it is a tradition that PHPPS P5 SA2 Maths Paper is tough....nothing to surprise....hahaha.....

DD said the Maths paper was relatively easy. I get scared when she says easy...

I told her not to speak too soon. Show me the grades. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

My Ds also said math paper quite easy...section c nothing tat tough ...only one pretty challenging question in section B..tat makes me all the more worry abt careless mistakes ... πŸ˜“

Ya I already identified a careless mistake my dd made. Hopefully that little mistake only costs her 1 mark.

            HI Parents,

My son came out of school with  face.
Math paper (prob sums) didn't just have 1-2 tough questions to sieve out the cream from the rest of cohort but basically a tough paper.
Expected that bcos my neighbour told me her son had an equally tough SA2 Math last year.

My Gal's Gym Mate in P4 says P4 Maths also Tough ....

My P4 boy must be lucky again- the types he not good at did not appear in the SA2 Maths paper.

How I wish, but it's not possible coz she wasn't sure about 1 question in section B, so another 2 marks gone. This is excluding any other careless mistakes that she may make. πŸ˜‰

There was a sch letter saying the papers will be returned this week. Wonder if it is possible.

Janet, u hv any idea when the sch can confirm the P5 classes & give out the booklist for next year P5? I still keep some of my elder boy's old textbooks, thought if no use, can throw away liao. in the process of spring cleaning cupboards now.

                      Hi Jennifer,
Yes, letter mentioned that SA2 exam scripts will be returned 3-4th Nov for verification. As for allocation of P5 classes, next week 11 Nov is for 'marking and classing'. Report books should be out the week after. I don't think I will be sending son to school because of the diff days they will need to attend/not attend...too confusing :scratchhead:

For Math, if your older boy used Shaping Math...it's no longer in use.
P5-6 using 'My Pals' now. Other than that, it's the same for English 'My Pals'. I'm waiting to do spring-cleaning for next year too.

                        Thank for the info.

Ya, my older boy used Shaping Maths. What a pity if cant use again bcos the textbooks were hardly touched n they were 1st hand ones I bou for him. The MOE stamp stated last year of use is 2012 leh. Even this year P4 Shaping Maths textbooks, the MA T also did not refer.

I need to check whether our EL My Pals (bou 2nd hand) are latest editions.

Next week might hv non-classroom activities, u really not sending your boy to sch?
