一般上，从与红娘公司报名登记，到飞来本地逗留两个月展开“征夫攻势”，与狮城男进行相亲，前后大约3个月时间。

李燕说，她的名单上还有400名在本地工作或求学的中国女郎，希望通过她在半年内找到如意郎君。

I think it is the other way round. After marriage, the China girl will probably change her mind after living in Singapore for a while and realising the financial situation of the guy is nowhere fantastic by Singapore standard. She will then get PR/citizenship and then divorce and look for #2 more financially solid one.

Wonder which \"sensible\" man would want to marry a PRC woman within 3 months? No need to cultivate love & trust? Most importantly, the man will be marrying not only the woman, but most possibly her extended family & villagers too.

Even among friends and relatives we have at least 10 PRC brides/mistresses.. ..

Unfortunately no nice story to relate yet.. ...besides the 'unofficial' ones hanging around we've got 600 more to deal with.. :yikes:

more than 50 years ago, and earlier, so many immigrants from China came and settled in Singapore … any difference with all these 600 and more ?
