I think it is the other way round. After marriage, the China girl will probably change her mind after living in Singapore for a while and realising the financial situation of the guy is nowhere fantastic by Singapore standard. Meet propective guys and ultimately, they will only see the same guy a handful of times before marriage. How are they to know the financial situation of the guy when they have no comparison (against Singapore \"daily\" standard of living)? I am sure the agency is not going to let them go with a few guys at any one time.
It is no doubt better than the current 1/2 weeks, but it will not solve the problem of comparison and change of heart in the long term after knowing the environment here. Unless the guy finds a rare gem like LOLmum's brother...... -

My SIL created so much havoc in the household the last 14 years..

it is a business as far as the agency is concerned, just the same as maid agencies
