How not to be flooded with PRC brides in SG
-
I am biting my tongue to be non-judgemental…
but it seems like a transactional case where the conditions on both sides are providing a common platform for an exchange, if you get what I mean.
Cheers! -
I think it is quite diffcult to prevent especially there is a DEMAND and SUPPLY.
So far I see those without going through agency one, fall in love naturally …their story is lasting until today. -

but not the mentality of marrying a \"rich\" ...man to get a better life. That kind of mentality :slapshead: :siao:
When I was a teenager, I also dreamt of marrying a rich man n be a tai tai
I have actually met a Tai Tai who is grooming her DD to be a future Tai Tai -
A lot of these PRC are here to snag a husband to get citizenship, get S’pore passport, then they’ll get a divorce, then get settlement, then fly to America. That’s the agenda of these scheming PRC. ( only a very very small number are thinking of having kids and to be a good wife and mother)
-
China recently implemented a law whereby whoever pays for the house (or who pays the higher amount) gets to keep it in the event of a divorce . This cause many of their women to seek their fortune out of China and so our island become an alternative for them.

Those who married here and refuse to have any kids, they are the potiential ppl who treat s'pore as a stepping stone to the western countries.
I ever even heard of a conversation between 2 PRCs on the bus that, they are going back home to their country for retirement next time after gathers what's here. -

I have actually met a Tai Tai who is grooming her DD to be a future Tai Tai[/quote]That's for the ultra-rich whose DD will attend coming-to-age balls and \"catch\" an ultra-rich guy from same background / society. Like this, the fortune will be kept within the ultra-rich circle. I know someone who is in that kind of lifestyle and her DD is (like what Tankee said) groomed to be a tai tai - must know ballet, piano, violin, baking....how to dress and be ladylike. We used to tease that her DD learn ABC as A for Aigner, B for Bvlgari, C for Chanel, D for Dior.......
When I was a litle gal, I dream of marrying a prince and be a princess too! I think a lot of little gals still dream of that :rotflmao: -
these tai tais must also learn to share their hubby with all the girlfriends, share the $$$ with them and their "legal" kids, close both eyes, learn to endure pain over the countless plastic surgery to keep their looks and hubby and the list goes on…

It happens. They usually attend a couple of the elite schools in Singapore. And their mums are featured in the social magazines.
