      Answer to the title: YES!

And there is more to come!!!

      Think about it...

The Singapore economy rebounded strongly to grow by 14.5% in 2010
Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 2.8% in 2010
Nominal total wages grew by 5.5% in 2010
After adjusting for inflation, real total wages grew by 2.7%.
      Info extracted from http://www.jcci.org.sg/storefront/file/2011-10nwc-guidelines-e.pdf

Now... think about it... IF the GDP is growing at 14.5%, and your wage grows only at 2.7% after headline inflation (which is usually less than what we really feel)... how long more of this can you really take in the years to come?

Having a single stream of income is passe.

          Actually, I am quite excited...

But that's just me... I see opportunities of a lifetime. The last time this kind of thing happened, it made many people happy when it finally ended.

Do you know how much your fishmonger charging per kg of cod fish? Mine just increased price again yesterday, like the 3rd or 4th time this year. Each time $3.

So equation of price of cod fish is $X + ($3 times 3) = $ per kg? πŸ˜‚
