Hi, my DD will be attending edgefield next year. Anyone’s child also attending there?

My son studying there till now. His MT teacher start her Maternity leave before SA2 about to start 2-3 weeks and pass them allot of last mins compo home to copies about 5 chapters and per chapters about 300plus words so that consider they had taught your kid about what is Compo by just copies without actually teaching lesson in class…??? I only can share this surface comment.

I got to know during last week report book collecting, his MT teacher hasn't deliver yet only expect to be due on Dec …. ???? I just find my son been with this MT teacher since P2 till 3 no improvement.

Is this responsible or Irresponsible teacher.
Really, hope MOE can do something to improve on all our neighboring schools.
Cos, I hear not only this school are like this included nearby schools too.

Wow I think I am worried now. So that means I have to let my kids attend more enrichment now.

Enrichment classes are just to maintain their results only for those who are weak on some subjects if the kids already well score 90 Abv maybe should just stay relaxed... Lol

Different class different learning pace these were always mention to us. Most of the responsible teacher were assigned to those good classes and for sure after sometime u will know …

My DS will be moving on to P3 next year and I thought the whole class will be moving up together. Apparently, it is not.

Does any parent whose kids with EFPS understand how the school determine which class the kids should goes to?

EFPS all P1&2 remaind same but after the P2 they will all be separated according to their grade performance as what I know. P3 again they will separate class again as there will be 1 special cream class in P4 onwards .... If I'm not wrong, these was told to me fr my son ex teacher.

One parent told me that stream the kids based on Eng and Math marks… my DD din do well in Math… haiz…

My ds was transfered after P2. Then transferred in P3 and they a major transferring in end of P4. Sometimes you really can’t tell when they will transfer, it all depends on how well your child has scored.


Normally there are 2 best classes and this class is pushed to the max. The rest of the classes will learn at their own pace.
