Don't bother. You won't even get to participate in the balloting, so don't waste your P2C chance.

If you are going by the caregiver route, don't bother to try because you will be in the 1-2 km category.

What other choices do you have?

I believe every school has its pluses and minuses. Take Radin Mas, for instance. I suppose you haven't heard anything negative about the school, right? But, does it mean the school has no flaws?

Of course, at the end of the day, both you and your husband need to decide what type of school you want your child to be in. You have to consider the options available to you, too. If there is no other choice available, my suggestion is to register your child in a school nearest to your house first.

By the way, this neighbourhood school - I presume its balloting history would indicate it had vacancies in P2CS, right? What other schools do you have in mind?

Can I register twice? First i will register my child under 2B outside 2km and is successful than register again under 2C within 1 km for other school near to my house.

No. You need to withdraw your registration from the first school before you are able to register with the second school.

Your interest for 2012 P1 registration very interesting. Do you know that ACS and SJI are boys' school and St Margaret's is a girls' school? So which are you considering? Boys' school or Girls' school or mixed school? :scratchhead:

I have 2 boys 1 girl. Currently staying in east. I would like to choose a school that requires no balloting for 2c within 1km.

So I’m trying to find stats before I make my move.

I’m from grassroots for bedok but still need to ballot under 2b 1km.

So I thought go to acjs or sjij since up till 2010 2c 1km no ballot.
Then I heard 2011 both schools balloted during 2c 1km.

So back to drawing board…

Thanks! Do you know what is the chance for entering ACS baker/primary under 2C within 1 km that is near my house? Since I have 2B but outside 2km, I know the chance is very slim for popular school in Tampines. Unless, I rent a place so as to be qualify under 2B within 1 km. Is there any rules for renting. It is really a big headache. I am living just a stone throw to ACS/SCGH but what is the chance of getting into the school? Very scary!
