            DD1 has checked and knew that she has made 2 mistakes liow! πŸ˜‰ Just :xedfingers: πŸ™ that she able to pass her very 1st Piano Theory Exam! Yamaha T said the passing mark is 66 out of total 100 marks and not the usual school system passing mark is 50 out of 100! πŸ˜“ πŸ˜“

            Dun worry Champ, I'm sure ur DD1 will made it.

            BTW, DD will be taking the Theory exam on Feb/Mar next year to avoid crash with this year PSLE.
            Brenda, my DD's T also planned to let her take the Theory exam Mar next year. πŸ˜‚

              Yea, Blurbee - just hope she able to pass the Grade 1 theory paper πŸ˜„ ..so the next one will be grade 2 right? And have to depend on the pte teacher which date she registered the date for her? Which are the exam period?

                Hi Champ, the next grade will depend on her T as some teachers will skip grade. As for my DD, she skipped grade 1, took grade 2 and will take grade 3 next yr. 🀷

                    Now SA exam over can relax lah! :boogie:

                    Don't worry of skipping the grade; in fact it does help to save time and money too.

                    DD also never take the exam for grade 4 and go for grade 5 instead.

                    This around, we bypass the Grade 6 and now she is learning Grade 7.

                    The total cost saving for Grade 4 and Grade 6 Theory and Practical Exam is about $800++.

                    Just my 2 cents thought
