Care to share what the weather was like both on the mountains
and in the city?

Also is the temperature difference great between day and evening?

Wondering how to dress my 12 mth old son.

Would a long sleeved cotton and jeans suffice ?

Switzerland is the most fantastic place and the beauty of Switzerland attract the tourist to visit here. I had travel Switzerland last month. I had very good travel experience of Switzerland. I am really impressed and I want to travel once again.

I was there last month. The best part I enjoyed about the trip was hiking, so hike if you can. What my hubby and I did was that when the train was decending from the mountains, we will stop few stations before the valley and walk down. The view of the valleys, mountains, flowers, waterfall etc is just fantastic!

There are a few types of Swiss pass based on the number of days of usage. You choose the suitable type based on your trip.

we did self drive

snow everywhere, nice and beautiful

winter and summer each has its own beauty

Zurich - Lucern - Interlaken - Grindelwald - Jungfraujoch - Gruyere - Geneva - Thoiry - Chamonix - Como - Lugano ..... it is the small towns and villages in between that are really great

ski season starts after Dec 14

Oh great! Would you mind sharing your itinerary, can pm me? By the way, do they require snowchains or the cars are equipped with snowtires? Didyoudo ?Basel and Bern as well?
