my sonโ€™s L1R5 is 12 points, he is not happy about it. His personal and school target for his class is single digitโ€ฆSo back to more revision and better preparation for next year.

nowsaday even 2nd tier JC also need 6~7 pts.

My time for 5 subj, think NJC needed only 8~9 IIRC.

DD in P2. Still considered honeymoon period.

Her school has yet to return all the papers but the kids were told how they scored for their SA2. So far, DD said all band 1.

I guess my vote will be satisfied, about there for Eng & Chinese. And satisfied but can be better for Math.

                  Busymom:

That's fast for all SA papers to be back. When was the SA?

Your DS' school standard is probably very high to begin with. Probably should see how he compares with other schoolmates, right?
SA was last week and he got back the first paper last friday.

The points that he lost was :faint:

                  - like missing out the hypen in \"forty-eight\" and lost 2 marks
                  - \"6 motorcycles and cars\" interpreted as \"6 motorcycles and some cars\" and lost 4 marks

                    careless mistakes or foundation issue?

my boy got his lowest math score yet, but it is due to carelessness.
so he owe me a decent cup of ice-cream already. ๐Ÿ˜“

DS has to wait till Christmas to open the box of LEGO that we have bought for him. He is not happy but accepted it

in SA1, he lost marks cos compre asking him to write phrase and he wrote sentence. he also lost marks in science cos he thought the picture was a spider when it is actually a crab! :faint:
now he lost marks cos math ask him for unshaded part and he gave as shaded part. :faint:

his friend lost marks cos copy from passage for question,'which phrase...' his friend left out a comma (or is it added in an extra 'and'). ๐Ÿ˜“
