A teen girl has attracted the ire of netizens for slapping her own mother.

Calling herself \"Adelynn Hosehbo\", the 14-year-old girl had proudly declared on Facebook that she had slapped her own mother - twice. She also called her mother a \"naggy dog\".

Her actions have resulted in an online uproar, with netizens condemning her actions and demanding that she kneel and beg forgiveness from her mother.

This issue appears to have raised such a furore that \"Adelynn Hosehbo\" even became among the top ten worldwide trending topics on Twitter at one point.

However, the unrepentant girl not only ignored the widespread criticism, she went on to declare, \"From now onwards I don't have a mother already.\"

A netizen claiming to know her commented that she was problematic since she was a child. According to the netizen, this isn't the first time \"Adelynn Hosehbo\" engaged in such behaviour.

The netizen alleged that \"Adelynn Hosehbo\" had also showed off in the same way when she cheated during her primary six PSLE exams. She had also allegedly stolen her mother's jewellery in the past and sold them to buy an LV handbag for herself.

The girl, believed to be studying at Marsiling Secondary School in Woodlands, also hints on her Facebook account that she smokes and has a boyfriend.

Many netizens commented that while her mother has never reported her actions to the police, it is simply unforgivable for her to bully her mother this way.

Another netizen claiming to know her however, asked netizens not to jump to conclusions. The netizen commented that \"Adelynn Hosehbo\" is in fact already 17, and that her mother has issues of her own.
STOMPer Hosehbo is disturbed to find more netizens coming out to say that they too have hit their mothers, after the STOMP posting about a girl who bragged about slapping her mum.

The 14-year-old girl told her friends on facebook that she had slapped her mother because she couldn't stand her and she was driving her 'crazy'.

      STOMPer Hosehbo said:

\"I'm very disturbed by the fact that some netizens, despite following the story of the infamous mother-slapping girl, are still stubbornly giving her support by saying that they too have done the same thing to their mothers.

\"The girl in the picture even dares to provoke STOMPers to share their stories.\"

The girl pointed out by STOMPer Hosehbo told STOMP in an email response:

\"What I did was just helping my friend.

\"Yes, I've admitted I've slapped my mum 4 years ago.

\"I have learnt from my mistakes, and so can the other girl.

\"She has enough bad comments and insults already.

\"Isn't life about making mistakes and learning them?

\"So what if the name are censored ? If someone wants to know who the people who got STOMPed , They will check and find it out and start spreading.

\"If this goes on, even if she wanted to atone for her mistakes, I don't think that's even possible because people notice our mistakes more than our good deeds.\"

Other STOMPers also feel that the public should give the 14-year-old girl who slapped her mum a break.

      STOMPer Barry said:

\"Doesn't she deserve a second chance?

\"In my opinion, she has her own fair share of burden to start that led her to slapping her mum.

\"Netizens should not be so nosy and harass her online.

\"She is only 14 years old. I've seen her at a Woodlands Halloween party.

\"She should be forgiven. Stop teasing her.\"

Another STOMPer, Oscar Bleah, who claims to know the girl, says that the girl is innocent and that whatever happened her simply rumours.

He says he believes that the girl will never do what people think she did.

He said in an email to STOMP:

\"Don't judge anyone, you totally have no right to do that, simple as that.\"
:?: What has happened to our youth?

We've a Sec 1 going nephew.... I always see him sprewing vulgarities at his father on FB.... He did it when the father didn't get him ipod or when the father asked him to revise his weakest subject...

The first time he did it, we post comments on his wall that he shouldn't do that. He stopped for awhile and ytd, I saw alot of comments again on the father. I actually saved this postings and intend to send to his parents (who are not his fb friends). DH also intend to talk to him this weekend when they come over.

He just look like a innocent 13 year old in person... But online??? he sure sounds like a ah beng.... like split personality.

I shared with my kids who are primary kids on what my nephew said. I am not sure if I would be so tolerant if I am the parents. BTW, the parents are very decent folks who spend time with their kids type. My sil is rather gentle type and don't scold them much. She is very \"kind\" to them unlike me.... From what I heard.

I just find it worrying. I hope my kids aren't like that when they are in secondary school but how do we ensure that????

These days teenagers are heavily influenced by media, social and cyber influence.

I don’t want to jump to conclusion. But reading this makes me mad.

A daughter should never lay hands on her mother, unless in self defence.

I wonder if this fellow suffers from too much control in her childhood (that she totally lost it), or absolutely no control?

My ds, who is in p4 has been complaining to me how often he hears the f word in school. In fact, just this afternoon he got into a squabble with a boy in his bus who keeps using vulgarities loudly.

Yes it seem so common. But I told the kids such language are banned in our house. So they are conscious that it is not something cool. They told me about friends' colorful language and I am shocked. These kids are from decent families too.... I told him for friends who use that, I wonder what kind of family they have. 🤷

I do not wish to judge as this is only one side of the story. It always take two to clap. If the girl has grown up in a happy family and has a good relationship with her mother, she is unlikely to slap her mom. There is definitely more to this. Girls at this age are very rebellious. They are temperamental too.

I have a very good relationship with my dd. However, she is undergoing hormone changes and her moods really swing. If I am also in a bad mood, we will definitely quarrel. So I keep reminding myself not to go head on with her when she is in her bad moods. I will only tell her that she is not right when she is in better moods. And she actually tells me that she knows she is in the wrong but she just has little control over her feelings and moods. When she is feeling lousy, she just wants to say something nasty to anger the parents. As a mother, I can only be patient with her. This is just a phase that will pass. Just yesterday and today, she is in bad moods again. I realise that by hugging her tight helps her to overcome her moods. It sadden me to see her so unhappy over trivial matters. Maybe I can try to find ways to help her to get out of her moods and to teach her how to manage her moods.

she stole her mother’s jewellery and pawned them for $10,000 and posted a photo showing a bundle of $100 notes spread out on her hands. Claimed that her friend stole $6,000 and then she bought a branded bag

                      with the balance money…

Just wondering if there is a minimum age to pawn stuff? Or as long as someone can produce an IC?
