Here, you can find some shops that sell the tasty noodles used for wonton noodles (dried version). Different flavours like plain egg noodles, the tasty prawn paste coated noodles. Nicely packed up in boxes.

dimsum, are the shops just directly outside the MTR? My sis was talking about some very nice dried noodles that are sold by weight. Maybe she is referring to this. Any particular shop to recommend?

I have not been to these 2 places in HK.

is a common joke from Hongkonger telling foreigner to distinguish the two MTR stations......Wan Chai is of course downtown HK near Central, Chai Wan is the other end of the MTR line ..... their \"kampung\" equivalent perhaps.....

leo, so sorry, i can't remember their exact location or shop names. But they are definitly not directly outside the MTR. I was walking and walking and stumbled upon them, whole shop selling noodles and nothing else! I am a noodle lover.
But your sis is right, one shop that i bought from sold the noodles by weight.
You can buy from Ho To Tai. It was crowned world's cheapest michelin star restaurant this year. Haha!

Back !! drizzling for the past 2 days in HK…dun go to streets in tsim sha tsui with pram will really tire u out… cos the roads are up and downs all the way… and the noobcook website really good, i went to some and the sogo counter for laopoping, really must see clearly else will miss cos they din even put up the name of the brand…

Phew! It was sunny when i was there last week. Supposed to rain last Fri & Sat, but weather turned out otherwise.. hence, my trip to Macau and Ngong Ping was pretty enjoyable.

On the whole, after so many years, I'm disappointed that majority of their MTR stations are still so 'pram-unfriendly' with only 1 lift and 1 big exit gate; sometimes got to walk the whole station to find it...
