      Happy Mama:
      drickymummy:

my fear is more of safety part when there is too many kids in the pool and not enuf supervision...

Hi drickymummy, not to worry. It is relatively safe and quite systematic as the group size is max 10, and each group will be taken care of by the parent volunteer or teacher.

U never know when accidents gonna happen esepcially with kids.. My ds ever kanna hit by a golf putter while just standing by the green doing nothing but waiting for me to catch up .. one of the kids near by decided to play with his putter by swinging it around. It just landed on ds's head near his eye.. I had such a big scare and from there onwards all sport injuries are nightmares to me..

        Dd class is 94. πŸ˜„

Hope that she can remain in her class for next yr. :xedfingers:

I hope my boy can remain in his class too...but don't think chances are high, unless most of his classmates have roughly the same marks. Well, if he doesn't make it to same class, it might be a blessing too...that he has to work harder, be serious and WAKE UP

        that's good positive thinking.

Just hope mine can remain in the same class and that's good enuf...his CL results were a little disappointing again  ...anyway, how U P3 moms/dads find the CL paper especially the Compre section?

Hopefully his sci can help to pull up overall results now... πŸ™

Apparently it seems the CL paper was very tough. Heard many kids in other classes either get 30+ or fail. DD got full marks in all other sections but lost a few marks in the last compre.

DS lost a couple marks in other section for carelessness but the compre is a killer again for him..

            Jennifer:
My boy got back his EL, MA and CL paper 2 marks ytd. Happy that he has improved tremedously in the EL OE compreh. Disappointed that he has not prefected his checking methods in MA. Very angry that he did not improve in his CL paper 2 :frustrated:

Now waiting for Sci marks and the overall CL marks.
my son did quite badly for CL paper 2. He said very tough paper. I will hv to look at the paper to do a review how to overcome this by next year.
Perhaps this is a sign to me that he should not take HCL next yr.

                Mark,

Might as well get Conquer Science for P3/4 too. Not only that, Learning Science for lower block too. Same publisher. :rotflmao:

                Mummies and Daddies,
Mark goes to BTPlaza Popular. I think there isn't a safe place we can go without being caught by him. Even Orchard Rd is not safe bcos he may be accompanying his wife to shop or son to buy toys.
Go Jurong East and BTPopular are so dangerous nowadays. Go Toa Payoh Popular! Haha. . .Bro Mark won't be there right?

PH CL ... always got standard.
While preparing for SA2, I saw the ACS paper .... very different from PH one.

A lot of us, including myself, alwasy prep CL for exam only.

Actually for language, a lot has to do with exposure.
For EL, we encourage our kids to read, but when it comes to CL books, we tends to be a bit more lenient.

So next year, I am going to emphasis on CL reading.

Maybe it is time to write a reflection for this year liao.
