My weekly grocery bill (for a family of 3) is about $80.

Strangely with groceries, people tend to just \"accept\" the increase in prices. When I try to increase my selling price for my product that my company is selling, the customers will :yikes: :siam: and look elsewhere. As if my company is inflation proof.

This is a case of having / not having substitute products that are priced cheaper. Groceries - everyone must eat, not much choice with everywhere increase in prices, right?

Yes, groceries items are a necessity. Earlier, I heard from the tv news that prices of rice would not hike and I hope this is true. Reading the news on severe flooding in Thailand just made me worried about the prices of rice in the coming day.

Think those provision shops will increase their price soon. Their stock is not that much as compared to supermarket

And also egg prices are increasing now

With the flooding in thailand, which is a big exporter of rice, i think there will still be an increase in rice prices sooner or later

Not surprise to see prices of rice hike secretly. So what is next? Would our year-end bonus also going up?

I buy most of my groceries from Malaysia. I will give my friend a list of groceries list and he will get for me and I just pay him some coffee money. I spend around $300 a month for my groceries include milk powder, pampers.
