GEP 2011 - Screening & Selection

Yes I think most schools will only release results next Tues. Anyway for those interested, this year there are 2 separate briefings, held concurrently on Sat 12 Nov 8.45am-11.30am, for both parents and students. There is very little time to make decision - last day to submit form is Wed 16 Nov 5pm.

ANy idea where will the briefing be held?

Just received call from school, my boy got into GEP.

Congrats to you and DS.... Didn't know school will call and inform.. Seems like the school very supportive of the GEP.. When my DS time, the teacher quietly passed the envelope to DS.. Nobody else knew he got into GEP.. :stupid:

I think you should try calling the school. Next Mon is holiday.... It's good to know early, at least can plan wisely and decide on which school if the child is in.

For DD1, as school hols started really early, the school called me and we had to go back to school to collect the envelope.

DD2 still in school for CCA, so we'll see whether she's holding on to anything when we go pick her up later. She said she's not gg to change school no matter what, but mommy here is curious as to how she fared
