Thank you everyone for putting things in perspective. I guess I'm just very worried cos dd2 (the one in P3 right now) is very very dreamy and laid back. As such, her results are also like stock market, depending on how well she can focus on exam day. I always worry about which way it would swing. My hubby also tells me to relax around her, cos that's her character. But my worry sometimes go into overdrive...


Ah well, I'm gonna go home and give her a big hug, then indulge in ice-cream together.

Mum will always be mum; always full of worries. This is very norm . Whatever the result is, the exam is over. If she/he scores well, great, give her/him a well-deserved reward. Else, give a pat/hug and move on.. there is always the next year to do better ! Meantime, just relax and enjoy the \"after-exam\" feeling ! Hurray ! :rahrah:

So far, all the good news from my P4. I was telling a friend that I better enjoy the \"happiness\" now before I hear from my P3. He usually depletes my happiness. The trend has been such that one makes me happy and the other don't... Why can't I be very happy for once :? Next year... I'll have 3 to worry about. :faint:

Haha.. for my ds2, he did not do so well in his SA1 but have done very well in his SA2. It is always like that, there is always one particular exam that he did not perform since P1. Haha.. have told him jokingly that why cant he perform consistently very well for one year so that we can have the chance to go for the prize presentation

Anyway, I am happy and contented with my ds2 results and have no wish to join the top 3 race. 平凡是一种幸福。

My details are as follow:

Kid born in year 2002: DS2
Schooling level: Primary 3
School: SAP school

My son gave me a surprise with his English Marks.Science in the same position.Nither up nor down.I am satisfied with his marks,cos year end need to revise a lot.This is the first time they revise a lot.He improved his marks in Maths.I am happy with that.MT only didn’t improve and low marks.Overall I satisfied with his marks.

Then he told us he is very sad as his fren weaker than him now all papers scored better than his. Hope from this incident he would WAKE UP and noit dwell at that 1 moment that he scored well once and thought always will hence refuse to do revision and want to do those miscellaneous non-academic related stuffs.

Once they got higher marks they will have the overconfident.In P1,P2 my son never do the revision even a day before exam.Then the marks started to drop then T said cannot be overconfident. Then he agree to study but hate a lot of practise.He just do a paper a day,but cannot finish.eg: He can't finish comprehension on the same day.Then It will do another day.After CA2 I just strict him.But I know he need more hardworking in the following years.
My son also started to worry about his marks and competitive with other friends.I am happy.So he will study for him.Previously he is not like that.didn't worry about his marks.

Pride comes before a fall ? Certainly P3 exam is diff from P1 & P2 .. no more honeymood period. People say the next challenge will be P5, cos school will drive u crazy with the full gear preparation for the PSLE.
BTW, should we start a thread for 2014 PSLE discussion ? kiasu mah ! :roll:

Thanks… I hope my DS would now wake up and learn his lessons. Taking a step back actually this year is his 1st time taking exam in sch. Thanks to no exam in P1 and P2, no homework unless u are unable to finish in class. Therefore he has been "trained" to relax. Hope he now "see" the reality world. haha Guess he is those type that worry for that 5 mins only, after that there is no more concern and sadness already…happy luck going guy.
