My son finds the paper tough too. He normally does not have any problem with the challenging papers done at school (fr the other top school prelim papers).

The last few questions were really tough for him & he said he did his best to solve them the way he thought they should be solved. He didn’t have confidence in his solutions to these last few quretions anyway.

I had advised him to move on , and concentrate on the next 2 papers. Dear parents, we all want the best for our children. Let’s continue to encourage them & give them our best support & understanding during this exam period.

I send my best wishes to all P6 students as they sit for the rest of the papers over the next few days.

my girl also said paper 2 is harder than paper 1 but she already lost some marks in paper 1. None of her classmates cried but she said many left blanks too. really don't know how to attempt the questions. MOE should review the exam format. to solve 48 questions in 2 over hours is not an easy feat. Let's hope the whole cohort did not do TOO well and that will bring their T score closer to each other and the kids will not be penalised. concentrate on science and chinese.....don't give up. the best is yet to be....

Couldn't agree more!!!! Thanks for your encouraging words!!! Children, let's brace ourselves up, don't give up.....!!!

My son came back and said that today's PSLE Maths paper was \"almost SMOPS level\" for some questions. He could not do #17 of Paper 2 (ie the second last question), and it seemed that that particular question stumped many children. He told me he saw two boys crying (not girls!) after the paper.

Anything to share on what you have heard from your child?

Sally - would you care to share? I know from yr past posts that yr son is pretty good in Maths, and had a Silver SMOPS award, so it would be interesting to see how a child who is good in Maths felt about the papers.

              Thanks.
