      Thanks Janet for the info!! Maybe a jacket will be better than? But worried that it will make the bag heavy

      just in case, you may want to put a short sleeve jacket in her bag. Maybe she will be wearing it in the morn on days she has PE since tops are sleeveless.

          Hi ladies,

          This is the last week of school :rahrah: my daughter is at home today and tomorrow as well. Fri is last day of school and orientation for new p1s.
          Remember to have our dinner first...it is usually lengthy.

                I thought higher chinese is only offered at P3 (correct me if I am wrong) and via selection. If yr kids are selected, u will receive a letter from the sch to remind you to get the correct textbooks for 2012.

                  Believe they give you a letter at the parent teacher meet if your child is recommended for HMT.

                      I think for SAP sch eg Pei Chun, , Higher chinese is offered since P1.

                        For SAP schools, all P1s have to take HCL until P4. Then depending on results, the teacher will recommend if the child can continue or drop for standard Chinese. Usually the grade would have to be 85% to continue HCL at P5.
