Oh nice! Can take a break!

Atan:
Agree, even a few of the compulsory items may not be used.
Hi, my adv is to leave out the items in the optional booklist and buy it only when needed. Fm my past experience, the Dictionary, Assessment books, etc... listed as options are not used by the school and a waste of $$. -
Thanks a lot Atan & 8228, great help!

Same here. I've just made my purchase excluding all optional items. :imcool:
Not sure how reliable the delivery service is??? :scratchhead: -
When will the children be told which P3 class they will be going to?
-
Last year, we were only informed a couple of weeks before school started (if i remember correctly). Teacher called up individually. 1st year they were trying out a new ‘format’ i think. Hopefully it’ll be more efficient & earlier this year.

Oh ok...thanks, mickeyhmh.
So DD will be kept in suspense whether she will be in the same class with her best friend.

Just looked at the P3 maths paper. I thought there was a question which was pretty vague, the one with the 3D drawing of a tissue box, one side shaded, and the question was how many right angles were there on the shaded side. If you look strictly at the drawing you would say zero (my son’s answer) but if you think about the real tissue box it would be 4 (the correct answer).

Why 0??
A shaded side of a tissue box is a rectangle, and doesn't a rectangle has 4 right angles :?
