I was surprised by DS to received the yellow envelop too as over the last weekend I was preparing him not to pin too much hope on it after seeing his SA2 results.


Like what vlim had said, we are now stuck if the situation to choose to move out of his current sch a GEP sch or not, what's the chances of our transfer. We have now shifted house this year.

I had the same feeling as you when I finisehd reading the documents. Very very stressed. But after I talked to a mum who has a dd in GEP I feel much better.

Me too, programme seems very 'siong' my DS2 is that type \"happy go lucky\" don't know if he can make it through ..... If half way can't make it, how ? Don't want him to feel demotivated ...

My DS did not clear round 2 but in any case :congrats: to those KSPs and their kids who have cleared round 2! Well done and wishing all a great GEP journey!

Seldom post here. Found this thread because my DD got in too. Same like every parent here, have the dilemma of whether to accept and if yes, which school.

Saw somewhere that kids from girls’ school stand a higher chance if their choice of GEP school is also all girls’?

NYPS - 34 this year

Thought NYPS got lotsa of kids get into round1 selection as gathered from the earlier post, hence I am surprise with this no.

Yeah..have been toying with the idea of changing since he started P3 as he spent like 2 -2.5 hrs per day on travelling. Very tiring and most time ended up sleeping. Worst on the days with CCAs need to wait until the PM sch ends then can come home. Therefore thinking if got chance to take this opportunity to change sch or not, esp now I need to go and fetch him from sch..time spent on public transport is CRAZY! Any advice to change or not to change?
