Thank you hquek! She was so happy, she called me from school to tell me. I hope your ds did well too:) Or did he not have exams? I know some lower pri kids had no exams.

hee, he's only P1; no exams but some surprise tests. At his level, I don't think he can use much of what's being taught in TAS. So far he's only using it to write his journal.

Oh P1, that is young. 😄 He will very well-prepared when he goes on to P3 and above. You started him in TAS young, I wish I had done so for my girl. She struggled for a while because her foundation was not that strong.

hee, I’m very worried if his foundation is not firm so have started him since nursery on english enrichment. I reckon he should be able to put into use when he reaches P3 and above. But for now, I don’t think there’s any material impact on his school work.

I started my girl when she was 6 but she somehow could not learn much so we left. Picked up Eng enrichment when she was 8 but the centre we enrolled previously could not really help. You are lucky you got it right for your ds in preschool and primary enrichment.

It has been a long journey for me before I found the right one in TAS. But glad finally found one at least.

Now am on a journey finding the right one for Math for her…sigh. You send your boy for
              Math class?

                    Hi smartmummy,

No they don’t, they do lend out storybooks to the children though.

As long as it works, not fear too late. Anyway, I think that your girl is doing well. Not sure if my kid can get that kind of score when he's your girl's age.

So far haven't. P1 maths seems okay. Am starting him next year. Although mulling if I'm doing the right thing (ie too much enrichment?). Would hate to turn him off, but still want him to have support if needed.

I think he will do well if he has started at P1:)

For math, I started my girl end of P1 but from P3 onwards she started struggling. If your boy likes math, I think he should be ok going for classes, maybe you could try out some
holiday prog for him and see how he finds it.

Diff kids take to enrichment classes differently, my boy was ok with more but my girl
would grumble and complain, she likes to have her own time to read and relax so I took away her science tuition and swimming classes to give her a bit more space.
