well… I call them up and they as me to make a trip down just do to payment of the car park when I receive my letter on the 4th November. Quite silly…

Then I should call them up to say I only received my letter on nov 8! So definitely could not have made it by nov 4 even if I wanted to make a trip down :slapshead:

Administrative hiccups?? The letters were dated Oct! Anyway, I’m gonna just send in a cheque with a note to say I received the letter after the deadline. Gonna avoid calling cos will most probably ask me to make a trip down

Gorilla, looks like a lack of admin man power? The letters were dated Oct 28, which means they took a week to put them into envelopes for mailing :frustrated:

Actually doesn’t reflect very well on the school, not a good 1st impression. But I’m gonna overlook this, hopefully the orientation will be better.

Hi, regarding the carpark label, I called the school this morning and they told me that I can submit the Application Form on Orientation Day and to just tell the security guard at the gate that we are parents of a Primary 1 (Year 2012) student.

That's what they told me too when I called them. But that means we might have to collect the car label on first day of school or sometime after orientation day.

The envelope I received had the Singpost stamp 3 November. So it was probably mailed on 2 November.
