any mummies currently in calvary kindy?

i m thinking of puting my boy in pre-N nex year…but according to year he shld be in nursery leh as he’s turning 3 in july. But when i check with the incharge, she indicated he’s in pre-nursery as it’s 2-3 years old for pre-N…so confusing leh…

how’s the student - teacher ratio? and are the teachers caring for the students? my boy still haven toliet train and not sure if the teacher there will so call teach them tt? quite afraid if i let him go diaperless he will just pee on his pants and make a mess for the teachers…

i m thinking of puting my boy in pre-N nex year...but according to year he shld be in nursery leh as he's turning 3 in july. But when i check with the incharge, she indicated he's in pre-nursery as it's 2-3 years old for pre-N..so confusing leh..<<<<<Pre-N is for kids who are 3 yrs old the year they are in Pre-N. I also got a little confused initially. Apparently, my boy will only turn 3 yrs old AFTER he completes Pre-N. He's a December baby. Hope this helps.

My boy's form teacher is an excellent one. She gets along very well with the kids in class but is firm enough on them for them to listen and obey her instructions. If they cry in class or gets punished, she will call up and explain the situation. My boy was the last one in class to be toilet trained (since he is also the youngest in class). No problem at all. Teachers were all very patient and the asst-teachers or helpers are all really nice.

mschar... have u heard? I think a few kids in their class are not continuing next yr in the kindy anymore. not due to anything else but the fees(too ex!!!). I heard from my hub who picks him up in the afternoon. You know how the ah ma's like to chat and all... heard them say.


which montessori u wanna switch her back to? is it better there? I actually am quite pleased with the teachers at Calvary but then the distance is quite a problem and me and my hub's schedules have changed so it's really quite difficult to be ferrying him to and fro. Worst thing is.... the school bus doesnt pick up from our place at Bishan.

woa…saw the fees increase about $80 since last year…coz i gt 2 forms…1 from the church people then another from the website.


total add up will be about $1300 for first time registration…plus i assume cannot use babybonus…every 2 mths have to pay $725…
