Any parents whose kids will be p1 in 2012? Is there any orientation this Sat (12 Nov)? I thought this is usually conducted after the school has closed next week.

My girl will be in P1 next year... and yes, the orientation in this Saturday.

Anyone's ds joins scout? May I know which day do they stay back n what do they do during the CCA? My ds is thinking of joining scout next yr (p3)

Dear Lock,
My DS says scouts CCA is on Mondays.
Mondays n Fridays are CCA days. Most clubs CCA are on Mondays and sports CCA are on Friday ( incl band, orchestra group).

I personally prefer CCA on Fri, so that after sweating out, can have a good rest during the weekend.

Like to find out from mommies with P5 kids......
Have heard before that the load gets increasingly scary from P5. Any idea how scary? Will they still have time to complete assessment? Wondering if I should get any during the coming 20% discount in Popular

There will be no PTM.

i suppose child will bring back the report book next week so no need to take leave..

Correct. In Rulang, there's only one PTM a year ( before June holidays ). I reckon we'll get the report books next week.... can't wait... :roll:
