Hmmmm not sure if we should condemn a tcr from 1 person's comment. Let's just monitor and see how before complaining bah πŸ™‚

Yes my son in Pri 1 Sinceriy red house.. πŸ™‚

Heard from somewhere that school bus does not fetch to further away.. But I am sure if got more parents also need, they will do it too.. at most charge more πŸ™‚

New principal can mean good or bad.. If good principal left, then worried the new one not good enough to steer. But most new office holders are eager to make a change and improve the existing systems to make a mark of their own. So let's hope she'll be \"on\" in the right direction πŸ™‚

By the way, can your sons read fluently yet? I'm reading the articles on this site and getting worried. 🀷

I came to know that the teachers who are taking P2 this year will come for our children next year for p1.As i have heard Mr.Prem is really bad as he never does anything at correct time.really I pray my son should not get him.If our children come across such thing,we the parents has to rise the issue by tommorrow to the principal unless we are spoiling our children's first 2 years of school life and their basic foundation.think about it .take care

Sigh. Bad news certainly travel fast. You see my son has been in Mr Prem's classes the last two years. This year, yes, my son's work was a little affected but i took the chance to talk about this to my son, to teach him about compassion.

If the story i heard is right, Mr Prem welcomed 2 baby girls in less than 2 years. The second being a premmie who required operations. Wife's health isn't good as well. He took quite a number of days off caring for them and he happened to go for an operation near the exams as well.

Initially i was quite concerned that my son did not receive school information and even exam spelling list because during the teacher's absence, the other teachers were asked to relief teach but most of them couldn't care less since they are not their own students.

As a parent, i feel sorry for Mr Prem's predicament and understand why family needs to come first. I was more upset that the school did not bother to inform the parents about what happened nor appoint a proper relief teacher to take over during his long absence. Parents should be aware and probably do more to find out about info and helping in the son's work.

I hope you will give Mr Prem a chance if he teaching pri 1. He was pretty good when my son was pri 1. This year he really looks battled. We would too if we have an unwell baby at home.
