Probably depends on the school. Some schools make it compulsory from p3 onwards. My DD's school has no CCAs for p1 & p2 but they have interest groups. One term, one interest group, eg inline skating, wushu.Erm.. another question...
Is it compulsory to have CCA? And do we need to choose what the school is good at?
DSA is worth trying only if your child is really good in that area, eg national or even international level.
Upper primary is heavy in most primary schools so choose CCAs wisely. In some schools, they won't allow the children to quit a CCA easily.
