Do you know usually when will the school start recruiting parent volunteers? My daughter was born in 2008 and she is due for P1 registration in July 2014.

Also, how is the PV selection process like? Any criteria that I need to look out for? Any parents would like to share your success stories?

Dear gancheongdaddy,

My girl is in P1 last year, this year going to P2. I bought the chinese cards i think 2 boxes, but they didn’t use it at all. I bought the chinese and english dictionaries and school also didn’t use it at all, they are basically for your own daughter’s reference or usage. So if you want your girl to read extra materials, then you can buy. Else you can save the money too.

I remember someone asked abt student care service, there is one opps CHIJ call JP Childcare. My girl is currently at the childcare. They also offer before/ after sch care. If Im not wrong is $350? Hi, anybody has heard anything from the bus company yet as next Tuesday is the 1st day of school.

I’ve called them and they promise they’ll revert but till date, i’ve not heard from them.

Yes, the bus auntie called us last Saturday about the pick up time and pick up locations. You may want to call them if you have not hear from them yet....
