How to improve section B for primary science?

Can anyone advise to improve section B, private tutor or tuition centre which is better? And any tuition centre or private science tutor to recommend? :thankyou:

Sorry,I don’t send tuition.From my experience,

1) understand the concept clearly
2)Do the MCQ qns in Past papers, if get wrong analyse why get wrong and reinforce the concept.
3)Do the Section B in Past papers qns, identify what they expect from u from given answers.Most importantly use key words and explain scientifically.

eg: When you touch, why millipede roll up?
ans: Its protect its self ----- wrong
ans: Millipede is a living thing and it responds to changes…correct

For section B, before writing down answer,
Find put which topic is the question about.
Every topic has key words to use.

Questions like "what is the relationship between
… and…?" has to be written in a certain way.
Eg: as the number of coils increases, the more nails
the iron rod can pick up.
This is usually how u answer the "relationship" type of questions.

Questions like "what is aim of the experiment?"
Have to start answers like
"To find out if the …affect the…"

Questions like "is this experiment a fair test?"
U have to answer like
Yes / no ( no marks awarded for tis ans)
The expt is fair because all variables are kept the same except…
(marks will be awarded for this reason)

Questions like "why must the expt be repeated?"
Have to answer like "to improve the accuracy of the results
Or to minimize human errors made during the expt.

There are many standard answers to memorize.
Like how is the water droplets formed?
Questions on condensation have to be answered in a certain way.
Key words are Water vapour, lose heat, cool surface, water droplets

Most importantly cannot write whatever u know.If u write wrong answer with correct answer they cannot give u half mark.They deduct whole marks.

I meant the first sentence is correct and is enough for the qn.Then u write unnessariliy some more but it is wrong.They will put wrong even though has the answer including correct answer.

I will dig my son’s paper and will post here. so u will understand better.
