      Hi Mummy-oan,

      I have tried to look for a suitable student care around ATS.

      Could only find the following information.
      Hope it helps.
      I have no idea if they are good.
      I am still scouting for a suitable BSSC for my gal next year.

      Red School House
      @Midview City
      (peeped at the facilities, looks more like preschool rather than student care)
      approx $400 plus (if i remembered correctly), need to add a certain amount if it is full day student care.)

      Umbrella Camp (think i have left out one word…)
      @Midview City
      (very expensive and specialise in chinese enrichment classes; high tech facilities like interactive whiteboard in a room)
      approx $620-680 for half day student care, add $20/day for full day.

      CherieHeartsNurtureLoft
      @Midview City
      $510 for full/half day student care
      (new, huge, include infant care and preschool services, can accept only 8 students per day for student care section)

      CABCY (I think I have remembered the name wrongly… Hmm)
      @Blk 444-445-446 around there… Oops cannot remember address now.
      (pretty small and ‘old’)

      Any other mummies or daddies could advise here?
      Thanks.
      Looking forward to the Parents Familisation Day and Orientation Day.

          also quite worried about next friday’s orientation cos she will be going into her P1 class for most part of the orientation…hope she is able to adapt well.

            Hi, any parents able to share information on teachers in ATS? I have heard some rather nasty comments about the attitude of the teachers because of the "branded" school status.

                    Hi babykhoo,

                    No need to worry about your child as the prefects are mobilized to take care of the kids too

                        hi nesame,

                        i went for the parent familiarisation. don’t think u missed much. it was more of a chance for the parents’ support group to introduce themselves and what they do, which to me was quite beneficial cos I would like to be involved in the PSG next year. other than that was the school walk about during which the prefects brought us around to special rooms like the language room, maths room, library, etc.

                        my girl is in class IG.

                        wondering if any of u know abt the school bus arrangment. my girl will be taking school bus to and fro. but the only prob is tat on certain days may need the bus to pick / drop her at my parent’s place which is just down the road from my house, just 5 mins walk. do you think the bus operator will be willing to change location like tat?
