      Hi

I'm considering whether to send my DD to Rosyth, NYPS or Tao Nan. Any comments about the GEP programs and the teachers in these schools? :?

These 3 schools are all quite far apart. Distance is not a consideration?

should I pick a school because of close proximity or should i pick a school where DS, DH and I like becos of school culture and ethos ? we stay in central and the latter school mentioned is CHS, any advice ?

My DS said choose the school that is of close proximity as all GEP schools are equally good. But again, if the distance of your DS prefered school is within reasonable distance then why not follow his desire since he will be the one studying there.

Hi all, my house quite near Lakeside MRT (3 mins walk), from \"distance\" point of view, Nanhua is closer than Nanyang to us. But seems Nanyang is much more convenient for us as just need take MRT & circle line, time spent is more firm. And we don't like the way that take MRT then transfer to bus (waiting time uncertain) to Nanhua.

Does anyone know if I apply Nanyang, this reason enough or not?

Hi YY1205, I have exactly same situation with you. Stay v near Lakeside mrt(5mins walking), our first choice also NY, second NH....
If our children are posted to same school, maybe we can find a few more kids and share cab together.. hehehh

Yes! That is exactly I thought! As I just called the school transportation company, it is terrible need get board at around 6.05am-6.10am for both schoo! (Nanyang & Nanhua) Too early! As my ds now get up at 6.55am everyday!

If you don't mind, can you sms me your HP?

The name of RS does not sound nice, huh ? I wasn't used to the name initially but after a while we can just laugh it off .. take it as a good way to break the ice !

Culture wise, RS is a very friendly school with responsible teachers , well-behaved children ( as a whole ). So far I hv yet come across any negative feedback in this forum..

Yeah I think RS is a good school too. My DH and I were impressed with the principal during the briefing in our time. Unfortunately, school too far from our house & my DS has his own preferred school. If we live nearer, my DS will most probably go there after being \"psycho\" by us. šŸ˜†
