Need HELP. Does anyone know what day is football CCA for P4 held this yr? Need to confirm enrichment class day tomorrow so hoping not to clash with potential CCA for my DS next yr. Tks in advance.
football cca is on Friday as school team trains on Thursday and Saturday.

They are talent spotted during PE and invited to soccer camp at the end of p3 during the nov dec holidays. -

The 2 model pupils awards and the top 5 achiever awards, the school selected total 7 students for each classes, I was chatting to one parent that her child was selected for the class model pupils award, we know the top 5 achiever awards were selected based on overall results, then what about the model pupils awards? Beside looking at the child outstanding exemplary behaviour and positive, the child overall results must be in the tip top. Correct me if I'm wrong.
The one parent said normally there will be no duplication for the 2 model pupils awards and the top 5 achiever awards, I don't really get what it mean by that, so the parent explained to me that the school will choose the best 7 students in each class to receive the awards, in some cases, if happened that 2 students happened to be in same score but only can choose 5 for achiever awards, the form teacher will decide the one who process outstanding exemplary behaviour and positive will go to model award.
Once again correct me if my information is not correct, I am just curious to know how it's work? I don't think the teacher will disclose much. -
Given that chess is NYPS’ niche area, does the school make the students pick up chess?
Can a P1 kid join the school’s chess club? -

The only sure thing is that model students are 1 boy and 1 girl. -

The info given last night by the teacher is that it will be based on English and Math. I am also puzzled why Chinese has been left out. :?Hi,
I was told that streaming from P2 to P3 is based on Marh only, plus recommendation by form teacher ( to top 4 classes). Is this true? Are the teachers objective in recommendations? How come is not based on all 3 subjects? Is that e reason why at P1, the kids have so many Math mini tests? Can someone advise me? Thank you. My girl is very good in English n Chinese (almost full marks) Math is low band 1, so I am concerned. P1 this year. -

I don't think so, what I know there is a class have 2 model pupils are girls. If I not wrong, one of girl has the same score with one of the top 5 achiever award, but only can choose 5. So the one process all the qualities will go to model award. This was the what I heard.
