        Hi 2011 PSLE parents,

Sorry to ask this academic question in this thread but all the P5/P6 academic threads are very quiet and I really need to get this off my head.

For PSLE EL Transformation and Synthesis,
what is the presentation of question and answer ? As I understand, candidates will be given answer booklets to write in. So for S&T, the booklet will print the words and lines of the 'rewrite' sentence ? eg. Both _______________. <-- is the full-stop also printed ? If it is, and the candidate write another full-stop, answer will be considered wrong ?

Reason I am asking is ds's school SA2, lines are printed but no full-stop so he wrote a full-stop but I read a S&T-tips presentation given by one of the EL enrichment school and it stated PSLE booklet will HAVE the full-stop printed meaning extra full-stop will result in 0 marks for the question. :nailbite:

        Thanks in advance !

Just check with ds, this is one subject that he can remember everything. He said that his teacher said, u can either put or dont put the full stop even though in the psle questions, there will be a full stop.No marks will be deducted.Hope this helps.

              Cheers,
              Leanne

Yes, we got back from Europe two weeks ago.Where are u heading?Am hoping for second holidays.....

                Happy Packing...

                Cheers,
                Leanne

                Hi Leanne,

As DS' school term ended early on 4/11, their p6 graduation was also held early on 10/11.

We will be going for holiday in early Dec and will be back just in time for Sec Sch Registration Day on 22/12. I have not started packing yet, as i will have headache once I think of the packing, haha!

Are you going anywhere for holiday? Or you have just returned from
                holiday?

                    Hey Brenda,

Yes, yes, definately remember those kanchong moments, looking for exam paper, how to manage time to prepare for psle.So glad is over...

Time to sing graduation song for p6 parents here too..

                    Cheers,
                    Leanne

                    Brenda,
The P6 will have ็Ÿญๆš‚็š„็›ธ่š next Thur - very soon! That will really be the last, last time they gonna see P6 frens and teachers in their pri sch!!

Time flies. This time last year we were just getting ready for them to handle P6 PSLE, and now it is over in no time!!! We all \"promoted\"......to Sec sch parents soon!!!

Yes, you're right. Next Thursday will be a ็Ÿญๆš‚็š„็›ธ่š.

Think their next visit to the school perhaps will be the teacher day on next year. They will then understand the feeling of ๆ™ฏ็‰ฉไพๆ—ง, ไบบไบ‹ๅทฒ้ž.

Anyway, I still remember we were here to discuss buying of prelim papers from Jeremy and now we are going to become a Secondary 1 parent soon. ๐Ÿ˜‚

How much does a person need to score (Before deduction or addition) if she wants to score 240-250 in PSLE? :?
