Made b4, green and black ones but no patterns as I dun have the moulds. I posted the pics here b4 as well. Hehe.

I'm a sucker for glutinous stuff. But now must not eat too much. Trying to lose some weight in order to fit into a dress for my sister's wedding.

What about the fillings? Do you blend and cook the mung beans yourself? or Yours is peanut fillings?

Whenever I do AKK, I will always want to cook the fillings myself and that's alot of work. Eversince no maid, I have not been in that cooking mood as no one's there to wash for me. 😢

I steam the mung beans till soft and then mash the soften beans. While the mashed bean paste is still hot, quickly add in cooking oil and sugar and mix till sugar melted. Alternately, u can blend together the hot beans , sugar and oil together to give u the Smoothen paste.

I usually add coconut milk to blend the mung beans and cook it with sugar till it forms a paste. Any extra fillings will then be shaped into fruits, colour and dipped several times in agar agar solution. Voila! you get the thai jellied fruits.
