Next year is my P4 boy's 11th birthday. We can organise a gathering then. -

Based on the naming system for next year P1, I think they might change the class name and allocation method again. Will have to wait and see.
Change again :roll:dyh:
My boy got back the report book today with a letter for next year's subj combi (our case HCL is not recommended), no class allocation yet.
That's fast. What...No class yet? I thought last Friday they were supposed to sort out the classes. -
Jennifer:
Your boy got 2 CL tutors? For CL paper 1 & paper2?
I talked to my boy's CL tutors, both strongly believe he is capable of handling HCL. He, of course, wants to take the easier way out.
My girl is not recommended for HCL. I'm against HCL next yr, daddy still want his girl to do HCL !
Today's super bad mood, mc with eye infection & knee cap pain, still has to work & attend mtg then girl brought back her \"rotten\" result back!! -

My boy has two CL paper 2 tutors. That's why I slackened n did not revise with him. Big mistake. Another mistake was not following up on his EL, since those worksheets he brou back all seemed ok.

I was in a bad mood over his EL & CL results too. U take care.
Btw, this sch hols is a must made good use period to brush up as many areas as possible. Next year will be very hard-up for time when the twice weekly supplementary afternoon lessons start. -

My ds is recommended for HCL. But I know his score is around the borderline. The gap between his score and those top scores is around 15 marks. Next year must work hard.
Also wonder when will they allocat the class. -

I'm having a bad mood cos of ds too. He didn't do well for one of his tests and I told him that I was pretty disappointed. One thing I really admire about ds is that despite his many flaws - whiny, bossy, mischievious etc etc - is the way he handles adversity.

Though my face was very black, he had the courage to take the initiative to explain to me patiently why he got some of the answers wrong. From that explanation, I realised he only made one careless mistake. The rest were not really his fault. From this example, I know that he'll grow up to be a much stronger character than me.
You take care. -

:rahrah: this is one of the best life skills we can teach them. -

I am impressed! He is very smart and mature for a P1 kid. So 稳ι and logical. He absolutely knows his stuff. :salute: My dd#2 also very mature for her age. :evil:markfch:
