牛肉麵翻譯菜英文 眾人看嘸


【台灣醒報記者林宜靜綜合報導】今年牛肉麵節飄異國風，有七國廚師來台交流，但牛肉麵節的英譯卻翻成「New Row Mian Festival」，引發爭議。「2011臺北國際牛肉麵節」將於11月17日在花博公園爭豔館舉行，除了有來自台灣各地的名店經典牛肉麵可品嘗，主辦單位更邀請海外的名廚來台交流，但現在可能要面臨，名廚可能會看不懂什麼是「New Row Mian 」。

早在6年開辦牛肉麵節時，英譯是外國人簡單易懂的「Taipei Beef Noodles Festival」，但當時市長馬英九建議改為音譯，後經美食專家討論定案為「New Row Mian Festival」，但如今這個譯法卻遭議員批評為「老外會笑掉大牙。」

在全國最大的BBS論壇PTT的八卦版上也有許多網友反應「看不懂」、「霧煞煞」，其中click1234網友還笑稱，應以台語譯為「Gu Ma Mi」還更貼切。

雖然英譯名稱惹風波，第7屆的牛肉麵節還是很有看頭，今年以嘉年華會主題，命名為「『碗』如奇蹟」，希望能讓民眾不管是在心靈上或飲食上，都能得到奇蹟般的愉悅感受。現場邀請台灣各地的牛肉麵店家現場擺攤，提供各式美味的牛肉麵，更推出美食優惠，如小菜招待或是現金折價。

11月17日「國際牛肉麵交流日」則特別邀請瑞士、香港、伊朗、印尼、泰國、印度、德國「七國名廚」，推出11道異國風味牛肉麵，展示台灣牛肉麵的美味多元，且融合異國的特色，挑戰老饕們的味蕾。

每年競爭最為激烈的牛王料理爭霸賽，除了往年的「傳統清燉組」、「傳統紅燒組」與「無限創意組」，今年新增「創新米食組」，鼓勵店家米食入菜，創造牛肉麵新吃法，為台灣米農與台灣米出一份力！

holidays...........at last.........dont have to wake up so early tomorrow though ds needs to be in school next week for a few days.



bought some 老夫子 for ds. pictures with little or no words but it does explain the title 成语 that goes with it. hope to get him interested in chinese books. got to start somewhere i guess since those with lots and lots of words or too simple books are of no interest to him.

got a glee encore music video, gonna have singing session at home with kids. haha everytime ds sings \"morning has broken\", totally 走音 but he likes this song totally with those by the warblers...........so gonna be a ka -ra - o-ke holidays this nov/dec. :imcool: neighbours gonna love us. :rotflmao:

something unpleasant happend to ds yesterday in school. it was a big mistake by some other people.


one moment he was at the top of the world, the next his world came crashing down. my poor ds was trying very hard to hold back his tears in school but when he saw me.

i am upset by the blunder made by these people and ds was the only one who was hurt. though apologies came flowing, the damage was done and i have to help him get over it. God bless my child.

the confidence and self appreciation are like a piece of glass, easily shattered and broken into many pieces even for a young child.
