what are the good buy during the popular fair? is it 20% storewide?

Hi, you can find story books, stationery, assessment books all with big discounts. I think the assessment books are around 25% at the book fair vs 20% if you buy from the popular stores. However, the queue at the book fair usually very long. Be prepared to spend a fair bit of time there as there're a lot to check out.

      Thank

Bookfest queues vary with time and how long into the sale. Some titles (stories and probably assessments alike) MAY not be available during the sale.

So excited, bookfest starting this friday…

Update on bookfest, e-tabloid for savouring - listing the special items, appearances etc. Remember, during the time that speaker is on, they may (they did last year) give special discounts on that author's books.

http://www.bookfestsingapore.com/tabloid-pdf/P1.pdf (change the number for immediate update, eg pg 2 is http://www.bookfestsingapore.com/tabloid-pdf/P2.pdf, and so on)

I remember coming across this series a long time ago. Most bookstores do not carry them anymore. Amazon might have this series.

When is the best timing to go for the bookfest where it is less crowded?

Nowadays, kids have very different taste for books - they do not like mystery stories like our days, they prefer fantasy type of stories dealing with demi-god, different worlds, teen spies, etc. I think it has to do with the computer games they are playing
