Hi 8228, your DS went for AMC 8 or AMC 10 ? I think AMC 8 it is for P5 & P6, can students below P5 take the test too ?

Oh, thanks, my DS1 took AMC 8 yesterday, which he hopes to go straight to AMC 10, rather than have to wait until next year. We just discovered got such contest.....

May I know whether individual (not via school) can take part in AMC?
is it registered online? it it annually?
the youngest age can sit for it is 9 yrs (P3)?

My ds took AMC8 last year (P4) and this year. The following is from Maths Oasis website:
