What I mean there only will be 2 form teachers, 1st form teacher teaching from P1 to P2 (afternoon session) and the 2nd form teacher teaching from P3 to P6 (morning session).

P2 form teacher this year should be teaching P1 next year.

Hey leyu,is it true that the same form teacher will be teaching the same class for 4 straight years?! That does not sound like a good idea at all.Perhaps 2 years max, assuming the school is aiming for continuity or whatever.Familiarity breeds contempt and if the teacher assigned to our kids is not as good as we hope, then we will be stuck for 4 long years…quite a horrible thought.

BTW,who are the "better" teachers for upper primary in EGPS?Anyone has any comments/stories/feedback to share?

Yes, i must agree that good form teacher is really important. They will determine whether the students like the lessons. Btw, my son class top scorer is 292. I can see the scores are all very close.

And for P1 and P2, the form teacher keep changing.

Anyone know who are the form teachers for P3?

Does any of you know the sequence for Science teaching for P3? There are 3 topics as stated in the booklist - Cycles,Diversity and Interaction. Will the P3 learn Cycles first or…?Have heard that Science is a very tough subject to do well in.

Miss Juliana Teo of 3 Faith is supposed to be one of the best P3 teachers.Have not heard much about the others so no comments there.

Will the present batch of P3 teachers still be teaching our P3 kids in 2012? I’d assumed there will be some kind of job/level rotation amongst the teachers.

not sure whether 292 is highest since there are 8/9 classes in P2?

                    btw, 292 is from 2joy.

Those in the top 2 classes will be even more competitive… our poor children!

For P3 Science this year, start with Diversity, follow by Cycles, then Interaction.
