24-hr mum, which class were you from? Maybe we were classmates πŸ˜‚

Yah, I really enjoyed my 4 years in St Nicks, and absolutely agree with phankao & Dinah on the positive impact of a great teacher. I was blessed with a dedicated English teacher in Sec 1 & 2, who totally changed the way I view the language. Till today, that is the only teacher my dad remembers. He still talks about her whenever the topic of good teachers comes up... πŸ˜„

Just to share some comments from my DH, who accompanied my DD to the orientation yesterday (he usually is quite stingy with compliments). He thought that the orientation was fantastic and the school was prepared and organised, making the whole event truly impressive.

Congrats to the sch and the PSG for a job well done :rahrah:

Triplets Mom, so you didn't make it to the orientation huh πŸ˜„

I thought it was a great idea for the parents to fill up forms on the spot. My dh stayed in the class for the admin stuff while I strolled to get uniforms, books etc. Practically no queue! Very happy about that.
Did your dd mention the EL and CL 'tests'? I heard some parents worrying about that, esp the hypy
