English Assessment Books

I did not buy the elite book after looking through it. I bought the new english specimen papers by casco instead at book fair today. First published in 2011, like the graphic stimulus inside. Don't need to use $$ because I use all the $1 rebate stickers from popular to pay.

However, all the conquer comprehension books are gone, left only the p1. :?

According to the Popular Bookstore cashier that told me - this book already having promotion and discounted price so thus the 20% discount voucher is not applicable

Thanks for your reply, Champion. Now, I’m checking with Blurbee whether the discounted price of the assessment books sold at bookfair is the same as that in the popular bookstore. If so, don’t need to go bookfair unless using the rebates $1 stickers. As the bookfair is crowded and q is long… Have to keep my family waiting there for me. Thank God, there’s cartoon show for my kids while waiting for me.

Thanks for uploading picture.KSP is working very slow in my computer.
This is the book I have been using for my son from P1 onwards.He has been attending ICR from K1.From 2 years onwards I read books for him.After he started to read himself I just encouraged him to read thick books.So far his marks ok for paper 2.So I continue this book.After he did I just mark and ask him to do the corrections.I didn't really analyse is it good or not.cos I think he learnt vocab ,grammar,sentence formation from his books.When I ask \"why this answer for this qn?\".He said he doesn't know but his answer was correct.My concentration very little in EL.I concentrate more in Maths,Sci and MT.
:oops: Really so sorry,I can't really judge about this book.
But I feel this book consists of all and its good enough practise for him.

I went to pop @ suntec sale, I found huge collection of study helpers under different titles. to my surprise there were math titles as well. Most of the assesment titles are finished. That includes P3 Elite.

I couldn find the science mcq. must be finished. bought TAs vocab n other one.

I saw Learners titles are 4 for 16.50. other than the daily specials most of them selling same discounted price at pop branches.

I've been experiencing difficulties accessing this site. :?:

Saw several Maths titles under Study Helpers...but definitely have sufficient for P2 Personally, I feel that if this bookfest is on till 27/11, then 'hot' titles which are finished should be replendished...to be fair to parents who go all the way to Suntec.

Managed to grab several titles for P3...some were 4 for $9.90, or else $2.90 each. Most of the titles are either EPH, SAP and Marshall Cavendish. I was very happy but my hubby was shocked when the bill came out to be $175...story books and stationery could also be the cause....hehehe.

There was even a day I was logout of KSP 3 times with error message saying site down or I am not allowed to access site. I had to re-open window and login again later!
