I would still continue my job with the same passion, but may seek to work part-time to pursue other interests.
For the money, 100% will be invested:
10% in commoditities,
50% in stocks and shares
40% as downpayment for private property.
50% of the returns from the investments will be used to improve my family's quality of living, and the other 50% will be reinvested.
The above are just ball-park figures. However, the idea is there.

I would buy a small property in a good location somewhere for rental. Wait for economic downturn to buy… Or if I have the knowledge and knowhows, invest in other stuff like gold or paintings…too bad I dont know how… heard they have good investment yield too

Properly see which sector is best to invest first. Invest most of it there, and keep the rest in cash for next sector crash. Yes, the idea is similar to River, but take the time to invest only upon sector crash…
Our style is to invest for passive income, but if too much money then think about store of wealth that historically give some protection against inflation.
Am far from cash-rich

There are 2 parts to your question. The first is the commercial aspect, the second is technical.
For the first, you have to decide the type of internet business you want to get into. If you want to sell things or a service, you could either do it as part of your blog or your own website. Setting up a blog is easy and there are many free blogging websites available. Or you want to put up a website to do whatever.... then this brings us to the technical aspect.
The technical part of setting up a website is ...er... very technical. Here there are also 2 aspects here. The first is getting the webpages created. You could do it yourself or alternatively engage someone or a company to do that for you. For instance if you want the website to show a catalog of products, you can get the designer to allow you to delete and add new products and update prices without changes to the webpage design.
The second technical part is getting the website hosted either by yourself or a company. If you are a technically oriented person, it is possible to host the website yourself.
It is easier to point you to the right direction if you could provide additional info as to where you are stuck. -
I will buy property and earn rental income! Not need to work!!
