I just released my maid 2 months back. so far so good. Can bear with the mess, but i get my gals 4+ and 2+ to clear their mess. Begining a bit tough, coz, my youngest was too attach to maid. But now we are doing fine, and we are enjoying the fun with our gals.

Maid too free will do lots of wander which you may not realise till is too late.

Good to release maids with younger children before they become too dependant on them like my gals. They are kinda lazy when it comes to tidying up their rooms. I think they don't know how and where to start...cos no training from young. At times when I am really really tired and thoughts of re-hiring flashes through my mind but I know I won't. 😓

i was amazed and surprised that my p3 girl actually helped me a lot after the maid left. she vacuumed using my cordless tall vacuum cleaner, wash plates (using my newlife biodegradable dishwater very easy to use n no itchiness), mop the floor, fold clothes. she find them very fun (now). and my four year old will try to fold clothes (tho make a mess). only my k2 boy nvr bother

i was worried my four year old will cry when my maid left cos she took care of her from birth but surprisingly she only cried the nite before in my rm (cos she said nx time no one cook for her, take care of her, etc - but i said i will do these things) and on the day of departure she nvr cry. she was happy to go to sch as usu.

                      Hi mummies,

can i know where to get the following:
                      1. spin and mop?
                      2. any recommendations for dishwasher?
                      3. any recommendations for dryer?
                      Thanks

To 24hr-mum, can i know if a dishwasher really cleans the plate well since there is no scrubing or must you soak all the plates in a big tub first before putting into the dishwahser? many thanks
