      Chenonceau:

He's usually done by 3-4pm, and then he likes to read short stories on the internet because he wanna try writing a short story. I rented Kung Fu Panda today but he refused to watch!! I had to MAKE him because I didn't wanna waste $5/=.
      Chenonceau,
Can share with me the website that ur DS is reading?

Hi Janet , we have told our DS too that he need to start preparing otherwise his result will be worst than this year.

Have to start preparing now...once school reopens, I dread :nailbite: to think the speed taken to teach the rest of syllabus. Trying to start him on Chinese wan2 chen2 dui4 hua4...but the P6 duan3 wen2 tian2 kong1 is tough...scary.

Yeah…now parents of those taking PSLE 2012 are indeed nervous.

It’s really once in a life-time and I always remind my son, if he wants to be in a position to select better sec school, STUDY harder from now…just 10 months. Don’t be filled with regret…too late.

At Bookfest last Fri…many kids will be taking PSLE next year (DRAGON year)…just looking at the number of parents carrying P6 assessment books is scary.

hi there, my son did not do well in his P5, the grade for math drop by at least 20marks and when i go through his test paper, i noticed it was mostly careless mistake. I only give him 1 week rest after the SA2 and started slowly revising for P6. i intend to complete all the P6 topics based on the assessment book and then will do all the past year paper. Anybody got better advise for me. This is the first time i am coaching him so my way of doing may not be good.

              hi concernmum,
i think its great that you are going thru the p5 stuff first before moving on to p6 stuff...i did just that too, revised the weaker topics and then did the p5 top school's final year exam papers....it seems to work for my DS....hope it's working for your boy too :rahrah: :rahrah:
we mummies need cheering too ya!!(i do anyway 😉 )

              Hi Funkymonkey & Concernmum,
My ds too didn't do well for P5 Math so I am getting him to revise his weaker topics in P5 Math first before I go on to P6 topics. Good time to revise during holidays.... 😓
