those P6s who had already received CO to enter RGS or other confirmed Sec schools via DSA - perhaps less nervous as they already know which school they going to (only need to wait for the psle score), compared to those who’re more excited purely depend / rely on the score then decide from there which Sec school they can possibly choose, based on individual Sec school’s COP (cut off point).
hypothetical qn:-
is it true that even if a child score 201 but already accepted the CO (Certificate of Offer) via DSA, the Sec school has to honour the CO, still accept the child in? (but of course believe that our RGPS girls will definitely score far beyond 201) -

Yes, true. Got CO, just need to pass and get into express stream; the school will honor the CO.those P6s who had already received CO to enter RGS or other confirmed Sec schools via DSA - perhaps less nervous as they already know which school they going to (only need to wait for the psle score), compared to those who're more excited purely depend / rely on the score then decide from there which Sec school they can possibly choose, based on individual Sec school's COP (cut off point).

wah! that’s very good!
if a child receive CO & know which Sec school she’s going to, is good.
prepare PSLE stress can be reduced slightly.
hear any news this year how many P6 girls receive CO from GEP classes, from mainstream E, F or other classes? -
phtthp:
The trend for our GEPpers is that usually almost all will get either CO or WL. Confirmed that with one of the school teachers recently.wah! that's very good!

No figures for E/F classes. However, the numbers are not small either. Among DD's good friends, she knows of a few COs / WLs to RGS and NYGH. -
MummySTay:
This year almost all the GEPers got into RGS with CO. For Nanyang, there are less but that's because not all applied to Nanyang. those that applied but diddnt get co from nanyang mostly got WL or no reply at all (which means rejected).

Our basketballers are very sought after as well. Quite a few have COs to RGS and NYGH. The few I know of are from E and F classes.
I also know of one mainstream girl from E/F classes that got into RGS through music. -
