Hi Skyea, Cat High is close by, but I think it's just as hotly contested. How about Kuo Chuan Presbytarian? But if KCP is Plan B, you will be going in at Phase 2C and you'll need to ballot unless you are less 1km at 2C.

I don't think I will be <1km from KCP if I'm <1km from AT. What a headache. Thanks though.

imho, it should either be PV or SHHK. spreading both hubby and yourself thin over 2 commitments is not going to give you double chances of getting into AT.


so you should assess whether PV or SHHK will offer you better chances of trying for a place in 2B.

You need a backup plan in case you ballot at AT and do not get in at 2C. Look around the schools in your area, and decide if there is any school that would be available at phase 2CS that you would be happy with.

hi. am new here and my question had probably been asked a gazillion times but i would still like to know, in the opinions of some of the parents who lives within 1km of ATS and 2km of KCPS, what are the odds that i will get a place in phase 2B should i PV for both schools?


my hubby is old boy from Pei Hwa at bt timah but we live way too far from PHS... my concern is the kid waking up too early just for school

will your chance of ballot be better at phase 2b for ATS if you'r a SHHK member? can anyone refer me?

u can pv for as many schools as you like, if you have the time to do pv at multiple schools. there is no limit.

there is no clear answer on which is a better choice. it depends on what you want. u may want to look at the past pages on this thread to get a feel of what it was like during this year's P1 registration.

currently, if you PV at KCPS, likely sure get in. But no guarantee at ATS.
