Thanks for the replies, Ribbon4 and MandyMummy. So we’ll have a bumper crop of girls going to RGS with just one off to NYGH and possibly a couple to SOTA.

MandyMummy, I thought you had a ds taking PSLE this year or am I mistaken?

Ya, I have a ds receiving his PSLE results tmr....
I just happened to meet a girlfriend and she told me about the RGPS GEPpers and I thought it is quite an achievement for almost all of them to get CO from RGS. And I also learnt that they are very close and many of them have brilliant ideas. πŸ˜„

Hi MandyMummy, good luck to your ds for his PSLE results tomorrow. πŸ™‚ I agree it's quite an achievement for almost all the RGPS GEPpers to get COs from RGS.

Hi, I'm new here, jus needed some help from rgs parents! Is it true that the school rely a lot on parents to send our kids to enrichment classes and tuition at home?

No, thats not true, as a matter of fact the teachers encourage the girls to attend their supp n remedial classes instead of attending outside classes.
I guess rgps girls have been seen more often in certain enrichment centres, err... thats becos we are kiasu πŸ˜†

All the best to our P6 parents and students.

Hopefully, the top PSLE student will land in our lap this year. That will be one more reason to rejoice!

My impression is the supp/remedial classes are for weaker students. I guess most parents would want their children to excel in school and will choose to have enrichment classes. It is all depend on the kiasu level of the parents. It is not compulsary but the culture is there.

Heard Top Chinese is from RGPS with score 281 and also top in school.

                        Top in SG is 283.
