Congrats Funx3!! Your dd did so well! Now she can hold her head up high when she reports to RGS. πŸ™‚ Any idea what the COP for EESIS is this year?

      260

The EESIS COP differs from year to year. Anyone know what it is this year?
Not sure, but my friend with 262 got it.

My ds scored 263 with distinction for higher chinese, how is the chance of being admitted into RI. Should he opt RI as first choice or HCI as first choice.

According to my ds' teachers, 263 (without HCL) is a very safe T-score for RI. Should put RI as first choice. πŸ˜„

My dd scored 247. Want to appeal to scgs. Can advise on her chance? Any comparison between nan hua and bpgh? Thanks

Can place SCGS as first choice follow by either NH or BPGH, which ever is nearer. Prepare for appeal. Decent chance!

Any idea 259+3 for RGS or NYGH or NJC or DMH

Your chances are better at NYGH compared to RGS as you can't use your HCL +3 for RGS. So go for NYGH, followed by NJC/DHS. You can use your +3 in DHS but not at NJC, so you can put DHS as 2nd choice.

TYVM ((:. πŸ˜‚ I live in AMK, so is DHS okay for me? It's like very far. Are there any school bus service for DHS??

Drop RGS, choose NGHS as top choice follow by NJC or DHS as nxt if distance is not a problem.

Thankiew~! Thanks for your instant and helpful reply! πŸ˜„ By the way, why drop out RGS? RGS's cop is lower than NYGH.
Mdm KY

By placing RGS as her top choice u are putting her at a disadvantage for entry to NGHS. Cop of RGS does not include HMT unlike NGHS.

suecat, if you intend to appeal to scgs, make sure you put scgs as first choice even if you think she has no chance of getting in. They will ask you for that during the appeal round. Really depends on your dd’s CCA and if that matches the school’s. SCGS is big on aesthetics like dance, choir, synchronized swimming, gym, sports like swimming, badminton, maybe tennis.

Another big factor is the COP. One or two points is really not difficult, but if your CCA matches, you might get through with more than 5 points below the COP.

                      Hope this helps.
