2011 PSLE EESIS and top 10% COP

My DD scored 259,but did not get EESIS leh!!!Nothing mentioned in the S1posting booklet.

DS got 254 and his classmate got 253....both offered EESIS. -

Eligibility
The EESIS are awarded up to the top one-third of the total number of Secondary One pupils admitted to all Independent Schools (IS), based on their PSLE results.
The EESIS is also awarded to P6 GEP pupils who are Singapore Citizens and who
1.meet the P6 GEP promotion criteria, and
2.are enrolled in the IP in an Independent School at S1. -

Okay, confirmed. The EESIS COP this year is 260. I got it straight from MOE.
So these couple of years the EESIS COP has hovered around +/- 260, give or take a couple of points. If the top 10% is also 250 this year, then it seems to imply that MOE does a cut off at around 260 for top 3% and around 250 for top 10%.
In earlier years EESIS was higher though. -

So if got by DSA, then will know, right?
But those who did not get by DSA, won't know yet until they get into IS, right? -

I never read properly again..... so it is the top 1/3 of those who get into IS.
