Hi. I got 258 + 2 in PSLE. With Maths and Science as A*. Should I apply for NUS high? And should I place NYGH as my first choice?

                  :celebrate:
I update d stats as follows:
                  1. Total 2011 P6 cohort = 45,261
                  2. EESIS COP = 260
                  3. Top 10% COP = 248 (tbc)
                  4. Intake size of each IP school?

dis means ~1,358 P6 attain T score of 260 or more,
                  leaving ~3,168 P6 in d T score range 248 - 260.
If top 5% P6 typically choose to go to RI, HCI, RGS, NYGH n some of them to ACSI n DHS,
there's approx 2,263 vacancies left in ACSI, DHS n d other remaining IP schools.
one can get a better feel of one's chances if u know d intake size n also take into account previous year COPs, n d estimated COP of d chosen school for dis year.
                  Hope dis helps.

Another forummer has posted in d other thread dat 90% gain admittance to NUSH by DSA n last year's COP was 264.
Your +2 does not count in NUSH.
IMO, u r quite far off NUSH's admission criteria.

U can use ur +2 in NYGH.
But consider NYGH's COP was 263 last year for non-affiliated schools.

                    Pls make ur choices wisely.

About 420 students will be accepted in NYGH including DSA successful applicants.
