Hi, looking for some advise.
My daughter score is 246.
Her ideal school is cedar, but went for the open house today and heard from the teacher there that the cut-off is 248.
Should i still put that as first choice ?
Whatโs the chances like ?
Thanks. -

SCGS is out of reach for your dd given her T-score.suecat:
DD got 247. Trying to appeal to scgs. But agonizing over the 2nd choice cause wthat will prob be a more confirm place. Nan hua or bukit panjang govt ?
DD prefer Nan Hua cause the classrooms are air conditioned, their CCA. I like bpgh because it s like only 1/2 hour from where we stay compared to Nan hua that will prob takes 1 hour including walking (15mins). Am concern with the Chinese environment cause dd is not really strong in her Chinese but she said she s ready for this challenge and think that it will help to improve and maybe stir her interest in the language.
But putting the 2 on the table , which school is a better choice cause their cop are the same ?
Any one can help ?
That s why we are appealing. One of the staff in the office told us that we stand a pretty good chance based on my girl' s p5&6 results which were submitted. Reallly keeping our fingers crossed and that s why we are very serious about our 2 nd choice :slapshead: -

Thanks. In the end it was like a wight hanging in your mind.ngbrdad:
We are appealing becos of ds's WL fr DSA and he is in GEP. Since we have gone so in the dsa journey just want to complete the last possible step. We are thinking of doing so for NUSH and NJC too. Jusst want to have closure for the near 5 months of DSA process.
ngbrdad,
My DS was on RI WL via DSA. Fortunately it got converted to CO. So I can perfectly understand the agonizing process and wait you are going through. I would do the same if I were you.
When we saw DS's result slip we quickly opened the S1 posting letter but could not find anything. After looking thru a few times then saw the words you are not successful in your DSA application. Then for a moment the mind just went blank.
Must go thru the whole process again in 2013 for DS2.............. -

I used to have the impression Queenstown was a better school compare to the former. Don't have much idea about discipline from both schools, but Gan Eng Seng students seems to be quite well behave.

Was thinking of that too. But really knows nothing about that school. Anyone has any info on St.Patrick?
Hello :rahrah:
Maybe St.Patrick? :imcool:
You can search online! Or go to the thread on the website :lovesite: :lovesite: :lovesite: .
You can also look at your child school search book. That thick one with all the schools :)))))
:salute:
Hoping for feedback from parents regarding the discipline and students' behavior. -
Do you consider pure express school as a main criteria in your selection of schools ?
